Banquet Server (On Call, Hourly)
Banquet servers serve meals to guests at banquet department functions, which may be breaks, receptions or meals. The tasks assigned to Banquet Servers will be directed by the Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager and Banquet Captains.
Bartender (On Call, Hourly)
Bartenders will serve beverages for banquet functions, adhering to company standards of quality and service. Position reports to the Banquet Manager and designated Supervisors.
Concierge (On Call, Hourly)
The Concierge shall be responsible for the coordination of services provided to all visitors to the Cobb Galleria Centre through the Concierge Desk. The Concierge will provide information concerning all aspects of events being held in the Cobb Galleria Centre, assist convention attendees in any way appropriate in order to make their visit enjoyable and problem-free. Position reports to the Assistant Event Services Manager.
Development Coordinator (Full Time, Hourly) ArtsBridge
The Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Executive Director’s fundraising efforts by providing research and grant writing support, managing the donor database and donation activity including the processing of charitable gifts, creating donor reports, managing the ArtsBridge website and online donation activity, managing marketing and public relations efforts, supporting fundraising events including invitation mailings, managing rsvps, creating/coordinating events and event collateral material. Position reports to the Executive Director.
Director of Facility Operations (Full Time, Salaried) CEPAC
The Director of Facility Operations will be responsible for insuring the delivery of professional management and superior customer service. The position will be responsible for supervision of all operational activities at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Engineer (Full Time, Hourly)
Utility Engineers shall be responsible for: 1) operation and maintenance of the physical plant; 2) routine maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, utility and building systems; 3) regular adherence to preventive maintenance programs and required tasks; 4) installation and troubleshooting of utility services for events. Responsible for ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with applicable fire, safety and building codes and standards of operation. The position reports to the Chief Engineer.
Housekeeper (Full Time & On Call, Hourly)
Responsible for performing routine duties associated with day to day activities that include but are not limited to: manual labor, performing routine housekeeping duties, operating mechanical equipment, policing public areas and such other duties as required. Position reports to Housekeeping Supervisors and/or designated Manager.
Public Safety Manager (Full Time, Salary) CGC
The Public Safety Manager shall be responsible for directing law enforcement activities and the general administration work in planning, organizing and directing the activities of the Cobb Galleria Centre Public Safety Department. Additionally, the Public Safety Manager shall be responsible to insure the operational policies and procedures are adhered to and assist the Director of Safety and Security Position with the yearly revision of policies and procedures. This position reports to the Director of Safety and Security.
Public Safety Officer (Full Time & On Call, Hourly)
Public Safety Officers will be responsible for the safety and security of company property, assets, guests and employees. Officers will be able to perform the duties of each post. Officers will work in conjunction with and report directly to Public Safety Managers and the Director of Safety and Security.
Set Up Attendant (On Call, Hourly) CGC
Set Up Attendants are responsible for performing routine duties to set up and break down rooms for events. Duties will include manual labor, event set up and tear down, supervision of temporary personnel. Position reports to Set Up Supervisors and Manager.
Set up Supervisor (Full Time, Hourly) CGC
The Set-Up Supervisor shall supervise shift personnel assigned in the day to day activities of the Set-Up department, to include but not limited to: supervise assigned shift personnel activities, train Set-Up Attendants, complete shift reports, operate set-up equipment and such other functions and duties as required by the Set-Up Manager. Position reports to the Director of Facility Services.
Steward (On Call, Hourly)
Responsible for ware washing, kitchen and kitchen area clean up activities. Maintains organized and proper equipment storage. Assists with food delivery and storage, and inventory activities. Reports to Stewarding Manager and Steward Supervisor.
Steward Supervisor (Full Time, Hourly)
The Steward Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen, dishwasher, and utensil storage areas.
