Due to overwhelming demand, The Smashing Pumpkins have added additional dates to their In Plainsong tour. After hearing from their fans, the band will now be bringing the Acoustic-Electro Evening to theaters in New Orleans, Little Rock, Memphis, Atlanta, Charlotte, Akron and Fort Lauderdale through May 1. The new tour dates come after a rapid sell-out of the previously announced shows.

The Grammy Award-winning rock group, which includes Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and Jeff Schroeder, will kick off the tour on March 22nd in Portland, OR.

Singer-songwriter Liz Phair is set to open the show for the Smashing Pumpkins on her first full tour of the U.S. in 6 years.
