Wedding Trends 2016
Did you know the Cobb Energy Centre has a 10,000-square-foot ballroom? An elegantly appointed room with dark wood, gold accents, and stunning Chihuly-esque chandeliers, the venue is perfect for corporate events, bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, galas, and of course weddings.
We pride ourselves on our cutting edge event design, and we love these wedding trends for 2016.
No event planning session would be complete without a discussion of Pantone’s 2016 Color of the Year. This year they picked two colors – Rose Quartz and Serenity. These pastel shades seem especially appropriate for a dreamy, romantic, Spring wedding.
|This dessert table by Australia’s incomparable Sharnel Dollar is a stunner! The tiered cake and blue cake pops complement each other beautifully.|
|Such a delicate bouquet! It brings to mind a vintage watercolor. Pale pink roses and muted blue hydrangeas set off the bridesmaid’s gown without overpowering either the dress or the flowers.|
Glitter and sequins set a sophisticated and glamorous mood for the festivities.
Ghost chairs allow the sparkle of this table topper to shine through and are perfectly paired with soft-hued peonies.
Add a bit of whimsy to your celebration with glitter lollipops.
Speaking of reflective surfaces, mirrors with calligraphy are perfect for your seating chart or bar menu.
This Kentucky Derby themed wedding uses Churchill Downs terms to organize the guests.
Signature his and hers cocktails add a personal touch to the festivities.
(There are those Pantone colors again!)
