Where is Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre located?

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is located in northwest Atlanta at the intersection of I-75 and I-285, just 25 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and minutes from downtown and Buckhead. What about other ticket websites that offer tickets to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre?

Tickets to all performances are available exclusively through the Synovus Box Office at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre or online at ticketmaster.com. Ticket brokers and scalper purchase tickets the same way that you can purchase them yourself, and then they generally charge exorbitant mark ups. Buying from ticket scalpers or brokers does not necessarily give you better seating or a better deal. In addition to paying much more than necessary, if there is a problem with your order, and you purchased tickets from any site other than ticketmaster.com, Cobb Energy Centre cannot help you. Is seating reserved or general admission?

All seats are reserved (specific seat) unless indicated otherwise.

Is there security screening at the venue?

Doors to the venue open 90 minutes before a performance begins.  There are now enhanced security screenings (metal detectors) in place for every performance.  Please allow extra time to enter the venue.

Is photography allowed during performances?

Photo policies are determined on a show-by-show basis as directed by the artist and their management. It may be allowed for one show and not another. Under no circumstances are tablets or SLR cameras allowed. Videography of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Are there any prohibited items at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre?

Yes, the following items are prohibited at the Centre:

  • Weapons of any kind (including knives)
  • Oversized bags (Bags larger than 11” x 13”)
  • Umbrellas
  • Backpacks
  • Baby car carriers and strollers 
  • Outside food and beverage
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Costumes that cover the head and/or face
  • Balloons, balls and frisbees
  • Coolers, drink containers
  • Selfie sticks
  • Illegal drugs
  • Laser lights/pointers
  • Video cameras
  • Hazardous materials
  • Mace pepper spray
  • Shoes with wheels
  • Pets (non-service)
  • Posters
  • Cameras, tablets or electronic devices (cell phones ok)
  • Binoculars (opera glasses ok)

What if I cannot attend a performance for which I have purchased tickets?

All sales are final.

What are the ADA seating options at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre and how do I purchase ADA seats?

Accessible seating is available for all prices for performances at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Seats in the mezzanine and grand tier are not ADA accessible. If you need accessible seats, you should only buy seats designated as wheelchair accessible and their companion tickets on the orchestra level. Please visit Ticketmaster.com to purchase.

Can I purchase tickets or subscriptions for Atlanta Ballet for The Atlanta Opera at Cobb Energy Centre?

Subscription packages for The Atlanta Opera are available at www.atlantaopera.org and for the Atlanta Ballet at www.atlantaballet.com

Nonsubscription tickets or single tickets for all performances at Cobb Energy Centre are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com or the Synovus Box Office on show days.

How late does the box office remain open on performance nights?

The box office remains open on performance nights until at least 30 minutes after the stated curtain time.

Is there an email list to receive alerts about pre sales and on sales for performances at Cobb Energy Centre?

Does the Centre donate tickets for charitable causes?

No. Cobb Energy Centre does not “own” the tickets to the performances and therefore cannot donate them. Requests for tickets must be made through the organization/promoter presenting the performance.

What dining options are there at the Centre?

There are concession areas on all levels of the John A. Williams Theatre, serving a variety of beverages and food. There are no seated dining areas in the theatre lobby. Click here for a list of restaurants in the area.

What are my parking options?

Cobb Energy Centre offers parking for up to 1,000 vehicles.  The on site parking rate is $15.00 per vehicle.  Credit card payment only.

Are young children allowed at performances?

All persons regardless of age must have a ticket for admission.  Some performances have restrictions or recommendations for patrons depending upon content. These will be posted on event pages as needed.
