Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre team prioritizes the health and safety of employees and guests. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our facility by updating or enhancing our cleaning and safety protocols to help ensure the safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our doors. Central to our commitment is a staff member who is certified in infection mitigation to oversee our program and ensure adherence to these protocols.

What are your current guidelines pertaining to private events?
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre continues to monitor all COVID-19 developments closely in alignment with local and national agencies, and we will revise our protocols as this guidance evolves. Please consult the Safety First guidelines for details.

Will I be required to wear a mask? What about temperature checks? Will there be any kind of health screening performed in order to enter the building?
It is at the discretion of event management to set any parameters for masks, temperature checks, or other screenings inside their leased event space. Please contact event management directly for any requirements specific to their event.

What safety measures are you taking to screen the health of employees?
Employees will be required to complete thorough training regarding hygiene standards and practices. Among many safety measures, employees are required to stay home when sick.

What measures have you put in place to mitigate the spread of viruses, including COVID-19?
We are committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our facility. We follow the CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting. We perform regular disinfecting of frequently touched locations, surfaces and equipment, including door hardware, restrooms, elevators, vending machines, concession stands, and more.

Does Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre provide hand sanitizer stations?
Guest sanitizing stations are in common areas throughout the venue.

Is there an expert on staff to make sure you’re complying with all regulations?
We have a staff member who is certified in infection mitigation to oversee our program and ensure adherence to CDC and state protocols.

Cobb Energy Performing Centre is an enclosed space. Are extra measures being taken to reduce the recirculation of air?
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre adheres to routine maintenance on our HVAC systems to facilitate increased ventilation rates, improve central air filtration, increase the fresh air brought into the building, and reduce the re-circulation of air.

Are there reduced attendance capacities ballroom and other meeting spaces?
Social distancing and occupancy restrictions have been lifted by the state of Georgia. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is following our event planners’ preferences regarding room configurations and occupancy.

How has food service changed?
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre’s food and beverage operations align with best practices for safety, hygiene, and reduced overall contact when possible.

Does Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre have personnel on-site in the event someone is identified that needs isolation?
If a guest or event attendee is presumed to have or is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre Public Safety, where possible, will escort them to an isolation room. In the event of a known exposure, we will deep clean all known points of contact/exposure and re-clean impacted common and high-traffic areas on the property regardless of when they were last cleaned.

Have things changed with parking, concessions, or other places where I may need to use cash?
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is now a cashless facility. Parking, concessions, bars and vending machines are now credit or debit card only.
