Moonchild Releases Sixth Studio Album

Moonchild performs at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 9

Written, arranged, and produced by the trio, the 14-track album refines Moonchild’s signature blend of R&B, neo-soul, and jazz into their most cohesive and emotionally resonant work to date. Waves leans into grief and healing, finding strength in the shift from resisting to accepting what is.

The album features a distinguished roster of collaborators including Jill Scott, Lalah Hathaway, Robert Glasper, PJ Morton, Rapsody, D Smoke, Chris Dave, Rae Khalil, Brittney Carter, Gretchen Parlato, Elena Pinderhughes, Christie Dashiell, Erin Bentlage, Astyn Turr, and Dayna Stephens — underscoring the trio’s deep creative community and cross-genre respect.

The trio continues to expand the visual narrative of Waves through visualizers, lyric videos, and curated short-form content available on their YouTube channel and social platforms.

On February 26, Moonchild makes their national daytime television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show, performing “Ride The Wave.” The appearance marks a major milestone in the trio’s continued expansion into mainstream audiences while maintaining their artistic integrity.
